Will it snow on Boxing Day? The latest Met Office forecasts says it could be deep and crisp and even.
A band of wet weather is moving into the UK from the South West, and it may turn to snow as evening comes round. However, it also may not settle as the Met Office is predicting that temperatures will stay well above zero: 8ºC as a high and 4ºC as a low.
Other forecasting sites are suggesting that a couple of inches may fall by 9pm.

The Met Office’s warning makes it clear that the risk of snow is uncertain and people should keep checking the forecasts: “An area of rain, sleet and snow is expected to spread eastwards across parts of Northern Ireland, England and Wales during Boxing Day before clearing during the evening and overnight.
“A lot of uncertainty surrounds how much snow will occur, but there is the risk of several centimetres even at low levels. As precipitation clears, roads could turn very icy.”
