Organisers of September’s Windsor Festival has announced a special deal for tickets valid today only (Tuesday, July 22) – seats at the Theatre Royal in Windsor can be bought on a two-for-one basis.
Celebrating music, literature and the arts, the 45th annual Windsor Festival is located within and around the grounds of Windsor Castle, by kind permission of Her Majesty The Queen, and will take place from September 15 to September 28.

Double MOBO award winning Saxophonist, YolanDa Brown will be at the Theatre Royal, Windsor on Monday, 15th September at 8pm. Widely regarded as the emerging ‘voice’ of mainstream Jazz in the UK, YolanDa is an exciting and much in demand live performer. She has toured with, among others, The Temptations and Diana Krall, whilst collaborating with artists such as Mica Paris and Jools Holland’s Rhythm and Blues Orchestra.
Folk singer Seth Lakeman will be at the Theatre Royal, Windsor on Friday, 19th September at 8pm where he will be performing songs from his latest album, ‘Word of Mouth.’ Commemorating in song hidden histories and unsung everyday heroes from in and around Seth’s native Devon and Cornwall, his music straddles both the folk tradition and the contemporary folk movement. Combining stripped back storytelling with his trademark melodic style, this will be an evening to bring working lives, majestic landscapes, the tragedy of war and the price of revolution all to life.
Sir Michael Parkinson
Sir Michael Parkinson will be at the Theatre Royal, Windsor on Tuesday, 16th September at 8pm.
This is a unique opportunity to get an intimate, entertaining and informative look at his journey from a pit village to the top of those famous stairs, to relive the best moments from a show that for many defined their Saturday night.
A Night at the Opera: Cosi fan tutte
A Night at the Opera: Cosi fan tutte, will take place at the Theatre Royal, Windsor on Wednesday 17th September at 8pm. London Festival Opera return to the Festival with a brand new production featuring a highlight performance of Così fan tutte which initially appears to be Mozart’s lightest comedy – but it is a work where nothing is quite what it seems! The evening will also feature popular arias and ensembles by Verdi, Gounod, Puccini, Bizet and lighter repertoire by Offenbach and Gilbert & Sullivan.
Public Passions with Philip Pullman and the Orchestra of St John’s
Public Passions with Philip Pullman and the Orchestra of St John’s will take place on Thursday, 18th September at the Theatre Royal Windsor at 8pm. Most famous as the author of His Dark Materials trilogy and winner of the Carnegie Medal and the Whitbread Book of the Year Award, Philip Pullman will be in conversation with author and broadcaster Paul Blezard revealing a life’s memories and the music which has interested and inspired him.
